Have never left Burrito Gringo disappointed (or hungry)! Super fast service (can sometimes feel a bit rushed but if you ask them to slow down they will,) great tasting food, and excellent value for your money. Highly recommended. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Burrito Gringo:
The chain started off well with good food, great portion size and ok staff. Over the years, it has deteriorated with items like $15 for a vegetarian salad bowl with no guacamole and $10 for a lame burrito. The portion sizes have gone smaller and the staff is nasty as hell. Horrible service. I said I needed a second to make up my mind, and the girl said 'ok, let me know when you 're ready ' then proceeds to disappear into the back room for the next 5 minutes, leaving me just standing there wondering where she went, or if she just didn 't like the look of me or something. All three employees seemed to hate eachother as well, made it feel really awkward interacting with them. Then, for the food part, the tacos were horrible. Pulled pork+barbacoa beef had no flavor, yet were piled so high. Why?! No room for the toppings was left. Then at checkout, I ordered a combo, went to grab a large size drink, only to be informed that the combo comes with small and no option to up-size. Tried to convince her to let it slide, but nope, she rang each item through individually, coming to $26 when it would have been $20 with the combo. How is there no option to upsize your drink for the combo?! Just wild.
Used to be full 5 stars a few years ago. But all the staff is different now, and I've had some incorrectly made burritos recently.
Overpriced, poor quality container and unhygienic inside. Fruit flies flying around the toppings. The bottom of this takeout container is so soggy that I can’t use my fork without piercing the container. Not sure what restaurant doesn’t test or care about their products especially since I paid $17.46!!!!!!! $17.46 for that amount of food and a soggy fallen apart container (hand for reference) . Exact same situation at the st Laurent location maybe even worse …They must be losing profits….I’ll stick to mucho instead
I recently ordered a burrito and some chips for delivery from this restaurant while I was sick at home. Unfortunately, the burrito I received was the worst I have ever had. It was filled with bitter cilantro stems, missing toppings that I had ordered, and had no flavor. When I tried to contact the restaurant about the issue, the phone went to an unconnected voicemail. This was a disappointing experience and the first time I have ever had to throw out a burrito.
This used to be our goto place, however since last 2-3 times I am consistently finding employees rude. Last time we went the employee who was serving us was acting like she was doing us a big favour, I asked to add topping little extra and she literally put that topping which in quantity was more than all other toppings. We now avoid going here.
