Best and Most Authentic!. Blue Nile is the place to go for authentic Ethiopian food in Ottawa! All my Ethiopian friends go here for their food. I've introduced this place to so many people and they continue to go and bring friends along as well! I'll never stop going here! View all feedback.

read moreBlue Nile offers traditional Ethiopian cuisine in a small, clean atmosphere. The restaurant provides authentic dishes, including generous portions of injera, with a balance of meats and vegetables served for sharing. A unique dining experience, Blue Nile serves food in traditional style with no utensils, immersing diners in the culture. The menu offers flavorful options like the berbere and Tej (honey wine). While some guests found the stew portions small, overall the food was tasty and satisfying. This restaurant is hailed as one of the best and most authentic Ethiopian eateries in Ottawa, drawing locals and visitors alike.
