My husband and I received a gift certificate for this place, we never been here before. The restaurant is located in westboro area but even there it is located outside the main street. I was in Ottawa for a girls trip and read really great reviews for Allium so we wanted to try it. The ambiance was very romantic with candles and dim lights. The restaurant was small so reservations is required. I ordered the duck which looked great in the Yelp reviews however when I received the dish it was tough and hard to eat. Visited for lunch for the first time! What a quiet and charming atmosphere with really friendly staff and great service. My steak was perfectly medium-sized rare and spiced; melted in my mouth! Large portion sizes and prices. The banana is amazingly delicious... hard to find words to describe this unique and delicious dessert. I can't wait for my next visit!
What an amazing charming and cozy restaurant. A little pricey, but so deserving if you want an extra special evening. Will definitely be a repeat customer. The food is perfect as well as the service. Totally satisfied with the service.
The food here is delicious! We tried almost everything on the menu and were very satisfied with the quality and presentation. The service was good. 3 or 4 people ordered the salmon while we were there, but the whole restaurant was it.
Incredible foods prepared by the master chef; probably the quietest steak I've ever had. Very recommended. Great service.
The first time. My birthday dinner. Unbelievable dinner. Smaller menu, but it is well cured, something for everyone, without being stuffy. Try the " Surprise me ' always fun if you're the adventurous way. The only opportunity I found was that the Veggies were overseasoned and Naben ' Steak was under. But these have not influenced our experience at all.
