Ace Mercado - Ottawa

We have enjoyed several meals here this summer, and enjoyed all of them. Nice ambiance, great service, but the menu is reduced from an interesting and cutting edge modern Mexican to a more pub like menu including fries and wings - disappointing. Still, food is really well prepared and enjoyable

With tip we paid $73 for 6 4" tacos, chips and salsa - really tasty but only about 20 chips in a small bowl - and a mixed drink. Tacos were good but small; if you're really hungry, at $4.95 a taco it might cost a bit. We ordered the lunch box which gave us 2 tacos and a side. Good, tasty food just too expensive.

I enjoyed a Friday night of shareable tacos and fancy drinks here with a friend. The drinks were very expensive but enjoyed all the same. The sharing plate of tacos was perfect for the occasion.

Service was very nice, drinks too, but the food was average, at best. Guacamole was nice, but the rest was not impressive; I make better al pastor (not boasting, just saying) and their corn tortillas were on the dry side and cracked (good fresh ones bend).

Our first visit. great patio, nice staff. the food is unique and taste amazing. tacos are tiny, so if you are hungry, get more than two. Great for happy hour.pace is slow; good opportunity to not be rushed.
