Been there twice already, their pho is great and the service is too. However their bubbletea was a bit too sweet for me. I've been to several pho places in Chinatown, and I've come down to a few reasons to why we always prefer to eat here instead: 1- Free parking lot 2- Larger portion of food 3- Faster service 4- Equally great pho 5- Closer to home Looking forward to try more of their dishes! What Kelvin Z doesn't like about Pho Bo Ga King:
The first time I've been to this place is alright. The second time was a disaster. First time, we asked for beef dishes. We notice that the beef isn't beef. Instead it was pork. My wife and I eaten pork, beef for two decades plus of our lives. We could tell what is beef or pork. The color was not beef color either. The texture is just pork like. the pho at this place is okay. The meat just sucks. The lo mein we got s... View all feedback.
Just so-so Pho here. The broth was very weak with spices and contained very little meat. The extra star I gave this restaurant was because of the friendly and attentive young lady who waited on me.
Was really craving vermicelli that day so I ordered it. Was extremely disappointed! Very very unfortunate. The meat was not marinated enough at all and tasted not good. Also it's really expensive for what you get. I love cho cham (located on Somerset) and the food and price is amazing. This place is nothing in comparison. This place is very close to me but I would never ever go back.
I love this place! Good food and good pricing! Always fresh and very tasty!
Worst pho I ever tasted!! The soup have no taste, very water down!! I am there often enough that I noticed the difference right away!!
2 out of 5 stars Though their bubble tea (I ordered a green tea one tasted ok and was affordable, it was ruined because the tapioca pearls (bubbles were overcooked (it was more mush than bubbles . Also, though their fresh rice wrap with chicken was affordable, it overall lacked flavour the chicken was not seasoned enough and the wrap only came with the rice noodles, chicken lettuce (what happened to the cilantro leaves? OR perhaps throw in some fresh julienned carrots? . At first I was excited to find out that there's a Vietnamese resto near my work but alas it was a disappointing visit.
