Honestly, the service is deteriorating. The food is good- pulled pork and fish are tasty and cooked well; however, I sat for 20 minutes after paying only to find out that my to go order had been sitting on the table for 15 min. The cashier said she would let me know when it was done- and didn 't. I was actually tempted to demand a refund but my family had already been waiting an hour for dinner and it was almost 8pm at this point. My suggestion- don 't tip until AFTER you get (and check your food. By the way, listening to the staff talk about getting out of here soon means that their job isn 't that high of a priority which probably explains why my to go order sat on the counter for so long getting cold. It 's sad- this used to be one of the better places in the area but perhaps when the name changed (new owners? that 's when it started to go downhill. My family used to eat here once every two weeks, now it 's more like every two months at best.

Ordered on line 1/2 rack ribs with the Brunswick stew and Cajun corn. Ribs may have been slightly over cooked but still tasted great like the rest of it. First time customer and I am sure to be back to try something new.

My hubby ordered a large carryout for my 50th birthday party. EVERYTHING was delicious! We had pulled chicken, pulled pork, and beef brisket. Sides were perfect! Absolutely wonderful hush puppies, mac n cheese, cole slaw and potato salad. Fantastic food and at a great price! His birthday is coming up and we are going to do the same menu from them!

First time at this restaurant and enjoyed our meal. Good portions and chopped BBQ and slice brisket was very tasty! Will go back
