Was Amanda N at Bissys Cafe a mag?
We had chicken schnitzel burger, chicken and bacon crepe and vegetarian brekkie. All pretty average, nicely cooked but nothing outstanding. Home style. Great coffee. Staff a little unfriendly. Nice to sit outside amongst the veggies growing. View all feedback.

What Brennan VonRueden dislikes about Bissys Cafe:
Stopped in for a quick coffee and cake catch up last week last week. Be warned your cake costs an extra $1 per person to have it 'plated'. Ridiculous! When I questioned the price I had the menu thrust at me where it has the additional price listed in small print. We didn't even look at the menu but just chose fro the cabinet. Furthermore the cake was dry and served with running 'whipped' cream and a full 15 mins befo... View all feedback.

A friend & I went for lunch today to Bissy's Cafe, a quaint old-fashioned cafe. We were under-whelmed by both the service & the food.

We drove past and thought it looked like a good spot for lunch. We grabbed a couple menus and headed outside. The herbs and fruits growing everywhere have a homey garden feel, amazing to sit outside on a sunny day. The menu is very average, everything you usually see on a cafe menu. All over the menu it says that if you want to dine in (from their display) or have something toasted that it is an extra $1 fee. A little ridiculous really. The food was also very average. Wasn't terrible but wasn't anything special. When we ordered at the counter we told the girls that we would be dining outside and when they brought our food said "oh yeah, if you want cutlery you have to get it from inside". Didn't tell us when we ordered our meals or make any effort to help us out. They staff weren't exactly rude, they were just very bland and un inviting in personality. Didn't really seem to make any effort at all with customers. The coffee wasn't exactly great either. I had a chai and it tasted like lukewarm milk, but even the texture of the milk was off. The cappuccino we also got was only okay, only slightly warm. Could have been an off day, but it seems as though the baristas need more training. This cafe is in a great location for people with kids as it is just across from the skatepark and the garden is beautiful. It seems like a welcoming environment for mums with toddlers, but service could be improved greatly with more training and maybe even a smile.

Family friendly and lovely outside space with animals and garden. Very fresh sandwiches were delicious. Great kids selection. Laid back. Cheaper than many other cafes in Orange.

Great food! Great coffee! Great staff! Fiona, Paul and staff are an amazing group of people. Our group of friends from the area meet up at Bissys every 2 3 months. We are a diverse group and are always made to feel extremely welcome, comfortable and safe. Fiona and her troops have always gone above and beyond to do whatever they can for us while we are there, like yesterday it was getting a little warm (summer usually does ; , so without question Fiona grabbed an electric fan for us to circulate the air to cool the area down a little and make things more comfortable. This is only a small example of what Bissys will do to make you feel at home. The food is always exciting and if you want to change something a little more to suit your taste (and if you use your manners like you should do then it doesn't seem to be a problem to alter it. I know I seem to be rambling on a bit...but I just can't recommend Fiona, Paul and their staff at Bissys enough. Keep up the amazing work guys (Y P.S. The pancake stack was superb
