Thursday is definitely the best day to visit! It's the perfect spot for a date night!

The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was undoubtedly some of the best I've ever tasted! I can't recommend it enough—such a treat! Our waitress was incredibly sweet, and the salmon with Brussels sprouts was absolutely incredible! The smothered pork chop was like nothing I've ever experienced before!

The vegetables were all excellent as well; the green beans were super fresh, and the pintos had the thick texture I love. The mashed potatoes were as good as my grandma's, and the mac and cheese would rival the best anywhere. My son ordered the pineapple habanero wings and absolutely loved them. They weren't overly spicy, just packed with flavor. The cornbread was almost like dessert—it was that good! And the sweet tea was perfect! For dessert, we were so full that we decided to share one among the three of us. Based on Alyssa’s recommendation, we chose the lemon cake. It was wonderfully lemony, not too sweet, which was perfect for my son and me. My wife, however, has a sweeter tooth, so we might have to try the cheesecake next time for her. We will definitely be back! Folks, you’ve got to give this place a shot—you won’t regret it!

Like eating a home-cooked meal at that one family member's house who really knows how to cook. But it was slightly heavy on the onions for my preferred taste.
