Unfortunately, the at-tab... read more This is a lovely spot to enjoy the outdoors with a beer and some nachos. The nachos are delicious and generously loaded with toppings. Unfortunately, the at-table menu doesn’t offer the onion rings I wanted to try based on other reviews, which is a bit disappointing. Additionally, the outdoor service seems a bit disorganized. My initial server mentioned he had just switched sections, and it took some time to get a new server. When we did, he was attentive, but the food runners kept asking who ordered what. It might be helpful for them to implement a better system to indicate where dishes should be delivered.

I ordered one of my favorite cocktails, a Woods... read more This review pertains to a disappointing experience with customer service at the KT Base Bar yesterday afternoon. I ordered one of my favorite cocktails, a Woodsman, but requested a substitution of rye for the usual bourbon. When I received the bill, I noticed a $3 surcharge and inquired about it. The supervisor, Nate, informed me that there is an extra charge for rye. I mentioned that the bartender at the Arc, Tatnall—who is excellent, by the way—had been serving me the drink with rye all winter. In response, Nate curtly told me, "Then you should go up to the Arc," and added, "Thanks for telling me Tatnall's name because I'm going to fire him." This arrogant display occurred in front of several other patrons at the bar. Nate's behavior was unacceptable for various reasons, and as a Squaw season pass holder for six years, I have never encountered a resort employee with such a lack of basic customer service skills.
