Was Allie G at Kt Base a mag?
My friend and I kicked off our visit by ordering food from OH! Burger. We both went for the OH! Burger Classic, and I chose a gluten-free bun. While it wasn't the best gluten-free option I've had, I appreciated having that choice available. Afterward, we headed to the outdoor bar for drinks. If you like Bloody Marys, I highly recommend giving one a try here; they are packed with olives, pickles, a cheese cube, and ta... View all feedback.
What maria e dislikes about Kt Base:
If you're at the base of KT, enjoying the sun on your face and surrounded by fresh powder, it's tough to have any complaints. This spot isn't focused on the food; it's all about relaxing and celebrating your good fortune. View all feedback.
This is a wonderful place to relax with a drink while watching skiers wrap up their runs on Exhibition, Red Dog, and KT-22. The drinks are superb, the bartenders are amazing, and there's no better spot to unwind after a day on the slopes.

This is a lovely spot to enjoy the outdoors with a beer and some nachos. The nachos are delicious and generously loaded with toppings. Unfortunately, the at-table menu doesn’t offer the onion rings I wanted to try based on other reviews, which is a bit disappointing. Additionally, the outdoor service seems a bit disorganized. My initial server mentioned he had just switched sections, and it took some time to get a new server. When we did, he was attentive, but the food runners kept asking who ordered what. It might be helpful for them to implement a better system to indicate where dishes should be delivered.
KT Base Bar is an excellent place for those who want to treat themselves to some indulgent calories, especially if you're willing to spend a bit more for the convenience. However, I did find the service to be rather slow during both of my visits. The bar had a decent selection of drinks, including a variety of beer, wine, and spirits, but I ended up having to make separate trips to order drinks because of the delays at our table. I highly recommend the nachos; while they are the priciest item on the menu, they offer more than enough for two people to share.
We enjoyed sitting outside by one of the fire pits, although it didn't give off as much warmth as we had hoped. Inside, the atmosphere was vibrant, resembling a lively sports bar. Our waitress was friendly, but you could tell she was quite busy, so she was not around very often. We had a small mix-up with one of our drinks, but everything else was good. The nachos were exactly what we expected, and the beers were just what we needed. If you're in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend stopping by for some après-ski fun.
