Hidden gem. I'm not originally from olean, but I'm going to school here. my father came by the other day and asked where I wanted to go. we decided to change it and came over union tea. first the load is nice. I loved the modern industrial look with cool pictures on the brick walls. I enjoyed one of the filled juices available; the flowering berries was a taste explosion. I also enjoyed the Greek burger and mac 'n käse burgr. both were unique and were very good. But I was blown away from the Greek burger who had both feta and tzatziki on it. I've never seen a restaurant that put on a burger, and they nailed it. I'll be back in the final.
Nice atmosphere and staff! The Greek Burger English Breakfast Iced Tea were fantastic, thank you!
Had a great experience with the new barista/bartender! Ordered a peanut butter russian and it was crafted to perfection using Buffalo Trace bourbon cream and Screwball PB whiskey. Well worth the visit!
Good food and service. Went there today with a couple friends the Chicken salad sandwich was delicious!!! My friends each ordered the mushroom Swiss burger which they said was also delicious. I highly recommend. Friendly staff, the tea is delicious as well, many varieties to choose from.
I used to love this place. Food was always delicious and fresh. Scones were the best! Since the summer, the scones are different; dry and not as tasty. Stopped for lunch with a friend the other day, and we each had a salad. It comes in a big, tall bowl, with a LOT of lettuce, and the ingredients on the top. All the ingredients were tasty, but there was lots of slime in the lettuce. LOTS. I gave up picking through it. I can't believe the chef did not realize how black and slimy so much of the lettuce was. And, the server was no where to be seen. Coffee was excellent, so that is all I will have from now n.
Union Tea Cafe captures a blend of nostalgia and innovation, yet elicits mixed reactions from patrons. Once celebrated for its exquisite loose leaf tea collection, the current focus on alcohol and neglect of finer details has left some longing for prior owners. While food items, from scones to salads, have fluctuated in quality—some dishes suffering from freshness issues—others shine with unique flavors. The cozy atmosphere remains a highlight, complemented by friendly service. With a commitment to offering healthy options and a burgeoning drink menu, this cafe continues to evolve, promising potential for both loyal and new customers alike.

This is a fantastic spot for coffee and breakfast. I decided to try the ham and cheese breakfast sandwich on sourdough toast and it was absolutely delicious!
I miss when the old owners had this place. Used to have an amazing wall that showcased all their loose leaf teas and, now it's just a bunch of booze. Guy who made my tea just threw it together didn't let me know how long I should let the tea bag steep and, didn't seem to care too much. Food is good. Not the same but, good. The vibe is gone tho.
My brother said we needed to stop by the Union Tea Cafe, on our way home and I must say, that this is an awesome place to come to!! My mom and I enjoyed a drink and awesome food!! Fantastic service and great location!!
The customer service was awesome and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. The prices were reasonable. I'll definitely be back soon.
The food is fantastic and the staff is extremely welcoming. I highly suggest giving it a try!

My mother in law , aunt and myself stoped for brunch. I ordered a m m scone , I got a lemon and it was very stale. You always had the best scones. Ordered a coffee with cream didn?t get the cream until asking for it again. Then asked for a fork to eat amini cake. That was good. Mother had the chicken soup and said that was good as were her danish. My aunt ordered deep fried Macand cheese. They were over done and had no flavor at all. We didn?t eat them. When we sat down the table and bench was dirty aswere several others so no where else to sit. I cleaned our table. Very disappointed as I had been in before and everything wasgood , clean and service was good. I don?t know what happened today but I won?t be back for a while. I never complain but somethings need to be improved on.

Great customer service and nice environment decently priced. Also offers glutin free.
Since I first tried this place about 3 months ago, I've probably gone 6 times, and ordered takeout once. I absolutely LOVE this place. Probably my favorite place to eat in town, but DEFINITELY my favorite tea place I've ever been. I'm a forever fan!
