Oishi - Olean

I never thought I'd enjoy sushi again after my experience at Walmart, but I'm glad I gave it another chance at a real sushi restaurant. Thank you!

During our visit to family in Olean, we enjoyed both sushi and a Hibachi experience, and everything was delicious and fresh. I can't wait to try more items from the menu next time!

I drove an hour to try the hibachi, but I was disappointed to find out that they only have the same prices for the show. It wasn't worth the money. I recommend going to a real hibachi restaurant in Elmira or Rochester instead.

Terrible experience. The service was very slow, and the portions were small for the price. We had to wait a long time and even had to ask for a drink refill. The sushi had an overwhelming amount of mango, which was unbalanced. The soup was lackluster, and there was an insufficient amount of meat—way too many veggies. The dessert was disappointingly tiny. Overall, it was not worth the cost. I feel like I wasted $70 there.

Vegetarian options are plentiful, with a wide variety of vegetarian rolls, stir-fried rice, and stir-fried noodles available. As for parking, there aren't many spots, but since most customers opt for takeout, it usually isn't a major issue. Service-wise, I rated it as average, while the atmosphere also scored a 3. For lunch, you can expect to spend between $10 and $20 per person. Highlights on the menu include the roll, shrimp tempura, soup, and sashimi sampler. Parking is generally easy, with a free lot available nearby.
