I was excited to try Beef Barrell after hearing so much about it and had high hopes when I arrived. The restaurant was lovely, clean, and well-kept. I decided to order the Beef on Kummelweck sandwich for $14.95, which came with a dill pickle slice. Despite the reputation for great beef, I found the meat to be bland and sometimes stringy. It was decent, but not one of my favorites. The service was lacking, as the server was not very attentive and slow. I might give it another try, but with lower expectations next time.

Great place for hand carved roast beef, always just the way you want it! Staff is friendly and attentive! Comfortable interior surroundings. Always try to stop there when we're in the area. Highly recommend!
