I really enjoyed the creative take on calamari, served with balsamic and parmesan—so tasty! The patio in the back offers a lovely view of Perkins Bay, and it's pleasantly shaded from the sun.

The Haddock and Clam Chowder was packed with seafood and had a pure taste of the ocean, lacking the heavy bacon and cream that often overwhelms such dishes. The oysters, sourced from Maine, were incredibly fresh. The shrimp tempura was also outstanding—light and crispy with vibrant flavors. As for the entrees, we had Hawaiian Poke and a grilled yellowfin sandwich. The Poke transported me back to Hawaii; I loved the ginger and seaweed salad (wakame). It was served over white rice—simple yet bursting with flavors. The grilled yellowfin was flawlessly cooked, so tender that I could cut it with my fork. It was served on a bun with arugula and wasabi mayo. Next time, I might ask for it to be deconstructed, as part of the bun became a little soggy. Overall, everything was perfect aside from that minor detail. We can’t wait to return next weekend for another delightful meal while gazing at the beautiful sea. Oh, and we also enjoyed a delicious bottle of red wine from Spain that paired wonderfully with our meal.
