The restaurant is located in a beautiful old house with friendly and helpful staff. I enjoyed the acai blueberry and the mango/coconut/pineapple combo, which made for a lovely pairing. The prices are surprisingly reasonable. It's a great place to visit after dinner. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Scoop Shack:
The soft serve was dairy-free and sugar-free. I found it to be better in a cup than in a cone, as it was a bit difficult to eat since it was on the harder side. However, it was great to have the option to order soft-serve. The staff was very friendly, and when my daughter accidentally dropped half of her ice cream on the floor, they generously gave her another scoop. We were happy to try this place and the ice was good, but it is not as good as fomu or like no udder.
They have the capacity for 8 soft serve vegan flavors! They had 6 when I went. I got Maine Blueberry Maple hot fudge (also vegan) sundae. Highly recommend! “Hard” serve ice cream did not have vegan options
So glad I finally got to try this place while here on vacation. Along with regular ice cream flavors, they also have a sugar free vanilla one, but more importantly so many vegan soft serve options! They do offer samples which is nice. I ended up going with the vanilla cone and rainbow sprinkles. They're open quite late until 11pm even on a Sunday, which is great because so many places here shut down at 9. It was a bit expensive in my opinion and the soft serve was more icey than creamy, but nonetheless, it was delicious and I can't wait to go back.
This place is the best! The soft serve is delish and I love how you can get an unlimited amount of toppings for a set price. The hot fudge was really good too. They currently don’t have an online presence so don’t be scared if you google it and can’t find the hours or anything, they seem to be open pretty late during the season.
As a vegan local I wanted so badly to like this ice cream but it's just bad. We got vegan soft serve (3 varieties) with all the the toppings (most of which were NOT vegan). There were a couple fruit options for toppings and the rest had dairy.. The soft serve itself was just bad. Watered down. Really not good. My son's was inedible in my opinion. The three soft serves cost us $25. They ran out of cash in their drawer and gave us 5 bucks in coins back. The music skippedthe whole time. Basically it's disorganized, overpriced and really just not good. Next time we will be going to get the dairy free options across the st at ben and Jerry's!
