Prices are on t... read more This is a small restaurant with big servings, a limited menu, and an intimate, but noisy atmosphere. The service is nice, attentive, and prompt. Prices are on the higher end, but the food we ordered was good. The experience, for us, was mostly 'colored ' by the busy, noisy atmosphere, which affects the way you even can appreciate what 's right in front of you in terms of food and drink. It 's always surprising, to me, how little attention is given to these details in restaurants, while praising the food and drinks.

Their wine selection is quite good, but if you’ve been wine tasting in the area you should consider bringing your own because the corkage fee is only $20.

If you read the restaurants bio the owner has a solid background in working at some fine dining establishments. And he wanted to take his experience to a small (and hopefully less crazy) space/town. The restaurant ambiance itself isn't anything notable, but the food and service certainly make up for the plain surroundings. We had the Pot Roast (a signature dish) and Wild Salmon. Both excellent. Portions generous, with enough to share and/or keep for yourself as leftovers. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The menu has enough variety to suit most and dishes can be adapted in the kitchen in case of food allergies/sensitivities. When we arrived, the place was half filled and quiet enough to converse, but within one hour we had a hard time hearing each other across the table. We both ordered the octopus starter plus a salad each, asking if this would be sufficient for a meal. We were assured by our server that it would be enough; however, the octopus plate turned out also to be a salad and we would have ordered differently had we been given some guidance. The octopus dish was fabulous! Tender, flavorful morsels grilled to perfection complemented by fennel, citrus, and a pile of dressed arugula. The other dishes, both salads, were OK. Next time we may try the pot roast. The fried Brussels sprouts were tempting until we learned they use canola oil in the deep fryer.
