Hazel
Description
Hazel, a quaint restaurant nestled in a charming town, presents a varied culinary experience that elicits both praise and disappointment. While some diners rave about its delightful atmosphere, generous portions, and inviting service, others criticize the inconsistent quality of dishes, citing overcooked ingredients and high prices. Favorites like the Fried Brussels Sprouts and Roasted Chicken receive acclaim, yet items like the mushroom pizza leave much to be desired. As a unique dining option, Hazel is worth a visit, though prospective diners should be mindful of its limited menu and ensure they manage their expectations.

I can’t get enough of this place. We always make sure to come here when we are in town. The food is always delicious and fresh with whatever is in season. Slight refinements to the menu over the seasons ensures we are never bored with what they have to offer. And always save room for dessert! Highly recommend everything on the menu! Plus, the staff are so gracious and always genuinely kind.
Wow. What a great find! The GF mushroom pizza may be the most flavorful pizza that I’ve ever had. Highly, highly recommend trying it if you’re a mushroom lover. The halibut with the salsa verde was also delicious.

Tonight, October 27th, I have just experienced the WORST!!! absolutely the worst take out meal ever. I ordered a mushroom pizza at least that’s what it was supposed to be. Horrible! Soggy crust, cheese piled in a “glob” on each shoddily cut section of inedible junk. This was to be a nice adventure on our 57th anniversary. I ordered apple crisp. Do you like burned apple crisp. It was presented in a tin that looked like someone sent it back and I got it on a rebound. I’ll never go back there and I’ll certainly never recommend this place to my friends.
