Beyond the food, the staff is incredibly kind and respectful. Although there may be a small language barrier, I've never had a problem placing my order. On my last visit, I took a Lyft to the restaurant, and while waiting for my ride back, I experienced some delays due to server issues. Been going to Pho Mekong for years now. Sadly it is one of the last old school Pho spots in Oakland as Kevin 's Noodle House and Pho Hoa Loa closed years ago. Usual fare here: pho, bun, Bahn mi. Food is standard nothing will wow you. What makes Pho Mekong different is that they sell desserts smoothies, Boba and the Vietnamese version of Halo Halo.
