Malibu's Burgers - Oakland

Incredible vegan burgers and fast food! These are by far the best plant-based burgers I've ever tasted. Even my non-vegan friends enjoy this spot. I highly recommend the "hella fries" as a must-try addition. The black vanilla milkshake is fantastic too!

When the food finally arrived, they had mixed up my order, which was concerning due to an allergy issue. As for the burgers, considering they specialize in them, I found them to be quite basic and lacking in flavor. The frozen crinkle fries were not fresh and lacked that nice crispiness. Additionally, the garlic aioli was overly thinned out, resembling a liquid dressing rather than a proper dipping sauce. The decor had a warehouse-like vibe, which didn't create a cozy atmosphere for dining in, so I would recommend opting for takeout or delivery instead. Overall, my experience was disappointing compared to other burger places I've visited. However, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt – perhaps it was just an off day and my next visit will be better!

We had our first visit to Malibu's Burgers and absolutely loved it! We ordered the Malibu Burger, the Tasha Grande, and a side of Tater Tots. Although it took a little while for our food to be prepared, everything was made fresh and arrived piping hot. Both burgers were incredible and the portion of Tater Tots was generous for a "side" — definitely worth the price. We’re looking forward to returning to try the loaded fries and milkshakes next time. 1st time visitors. Decent place. I would visit again. We tried the fish sand, the chicken salad, and a spicy burger. The vegan chicken on the salad had good texture and flavor. The vegan fish tasted good, but was a pretty thin, dry patty. (Had to ask forextra tarter sauce). The burger had good texture, and the flavor was just okay and not spicy. Metered street parking only.Friendly, helpful staff. Cold, loud seating area with no decorations. Adding some decor could minimize the echo of the coldconcrete walls of this place.

We ordered the needy meaty burger and fight the power chicken sandwich. I didn't had high expectations about the needy meaty burger because it's made from impossible burger, bit let me talk you, this is the best burger I ever had!!! Most try! Can't waitto go back. We also had fries and cookies and cream shake, all very good
