We walked into the restaurant for a late lunch and were met by a hostile young woman at the counter who insisted that my service dog must leave. I explained that my dog is a service dog due to my PTSD as a veteran; he had his vest on and was behaving appropriately. However, she refused to accept this. It was clear that the employee did not know the two key questions regarding service dogs, and it’s her manager’s responsibility to educate the staff about the ADA guidelines. There’s no excuse for her attitude or lack of knowledge. If you're a veteran or a family member of one, I recommend spending your money elsewhere, as no one deserves to be treated the way we were.

I came in specifically to try the shrimp after seeing all the advertisements on the doors and inside, instead of going to Jimmy John's as I had originally planned. However, when I asked about the shrimp, one of the employees opened the container and informed me that they were all out. She didn’t even offer to let me wait for more to be made. The carnitas and barbacoa were delicious, but I really wanted the shrimp. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t seem very friendly, particularly the two girls at the front—one with red hair and the other with green. Later, I decided to get back in line and spent another $13.00. A different girl from the back opened the same container and said there was enough shrimp for just one taco. I took that as a good sign and ordered three tacos with the shrimp along with a different meat as well. The shrimp turned out to be pretty good, but I feel like I shouldn’t have had to go through so much just to try it. Once again, the girl ringing me up with the red-dyed hair could have at least smiled; her demeanor was not very friendly at all.
