The staff were very friendly and... read more I asked if it was okay to leave my car in the car park as I was cycling the Brampton Valley Way and returning for a late lunch. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. When we returned at 2:30pm, we were simply told to take a seat and order at the bar. Unfortunately, we were not given menus, so we had to return to the bar to collect them. The food arrived quickly, and we enjoyed our two courses from the lunch offer. However, after we finished eating, we waited for our plates to be cleared and asked if we wanted anything else, but no one came to check on us. We were planning to order hot chocolates, but we couldn't wait any longer. When I went to pay at the bar, no one asked if we enjoyed our meal or if everything was okay. Because of this lack of attention, I did not leave a tip. It was disappointing to see that the staff either lacked training or simply didn't care.

Despite being 'out' of several items, it didn't impact our selections. All of our meals were delicious. The service was prompt, and the staff was friendly. While it was a bit pricey, that seems to be the norm everywhere nowadays.

Kids got a bag of activities that kept them happy then we me Santa Claus who was absolutely spot on. He had my kids asking questions and laughing, us adults too were in stitches . The kids received a real quality gift each and we were all so happy at the amount of time we got to chat to Santa . Thank you so much .

The food was great, the staff at the pub attentive, and very helpful when we each had to pay individually (a work reason meaning we had to claim back for the lunch individually). No problem too small. The rare ribeye steak was very nice!
