We were meeting a friend for lunch and were blown away by how delicious the fish and chips were. They were large, fresh, and the batter was perfectly crispy and crunchy. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I'm so pleased with the recent renovations that have made the interior of the place absolutely beautiful.

My son was constantly joking, as he does, and our waitress, Cara, took it in stride. We enjoyed fish and chips with breaded mushrooms and onion rings, as well as donuts and ice cream for dessert - it was all very enjoyable. The restaurant had great food and many TVs playing sports, but the best part was the good-natured banter with the staff. Even though Cara seemed a bit tipsy, she was still engaging and all the staff were polite, respectful, and efficient. We will definitely return again - we appreciated the honest and warm service, especially since we came from London. The staff at this restaurant are great ambassadors for Northampton.

Wow what a wonderful experience we had last night our beloved son Richard lives in supported living placement in whitworth rd nearby he is autistic we travelled... read more Wow what a wonderful experience we had last night our beloved son Richard lives in supported living placement in whitworth rd nearby he is autistic we travelled up from croydon Surrey first time here ,wow what a welcome ,my wife Barbara is wheelchair user so was apprehensive about access and amenities as per but was met by a very polite and respectful young man and table in the bar area already laid out for us which having an autistic son and myself also autistic and disabled wife and a very long journey it was very heartwarming environment especially for 5pm on a Tuesday, manager was very nice respectful and friendly and approachable felt welcoming and wanted ,my beloved Barbara and my son Richard had cod and chips and I had chicken burger and chips everything was fresh and most importantly prepared and presented well ,we had sticky toffee pudding and ice cream very enjoyable experience a lovely memory to keep ,lots of TV sport to watch and great pool table was very impressed with this place thoroughly recommend a real local gem will definitely return soon xx Jeff and Barbara and Richard
