However, we were surprised to receive a letter later on informing us that we were being fined £100 (or £60 if paid within 14 days) for parking in the pub car park. Be warned, drivers.

Th... read more We decided to have Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The service from our host Anna was efficient, warm, and friendly. She catered to our every need promptly. The food was excellent, with the meat and vegetables both receiving a perfect 10/10 rating. We definitely plan to come back again. This restaurant offers the best Sunday lunch in the area.

There were 8 of us in total, with at least 4 who live nearby and consider it their local spot. My wife didn't join us due to a headache, but she kindly agreed to pick me and a friend up when we were ready to leave. After waiting for us for about 15-20 minutes in our car, we received a parking charge notice for £100, which could be reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days. Unfortunately, despite our efforts to explain the situation to the bar management and car park operators, our appeal was denied. It's frustrating to have to pay an extra £60 after spending both time and money at the pub. The lack of understanding and flexibility from Kittiwake, its management, and the car park operators is disappointing.

We parked in front of the pub in the car park and received a £60 fine for an hours stay. We parked directly in front of the door as my mother is disabled, and directly entered the pub no parking signs or machines to be seen, only to receive a fine a week later. Very poor show from the Kitiwake.

It fell off the bone and went really well with the mash and apple sauce, great recommendation, **** lovely meal, and great service, thanks!
