read moreThe Fickle Fig offers delicious soup and sandwiches, but lacks variety and friendliness in the staff. The baking quality is disappointing. The outdoor dining area could be improved with some organization. The bakery items, such as the peanut butter and Nanaimo bars, were bland and poor in quality. The Brownie with Fudge and Pecan topping was overly sweet. The pasta was gummy and the outdoor seating lacked amenities. Despite these issues, the bakery also offered tasty desserts and a charming atmosphere, making it a charming stop for lunch or takeout with unique experiences such as pasta and bread making demonstrations.
