Dropped in spontaneously for Saturday evening dinner. Got there just before the rush, by the time our apps arrived every table was full. If you are looking for fast paced, this might not be for you. Other reviewers have complained, but it's actually nice not be pushed out while you are still drinking your after dinner coffee. It's also not fine dining, but a great Hamilton institution. What User doesn't like about Capri:
As mentioned in previous reviews, the service here is very slow, that is to say. extremely slow. No fault of the only waitress on the floor, pour woman is running around trying to serve all tables. I could have dealt with that, as we were not in a rush, but when the food finally did come it was gawd-awful. Fettucini and Clams...inedible, Panzerotto....a large dough ball with a few mushrooms and pepperoni, with lots a... View all feedback.
I am still giving a five-star rating, but I am really disappointed. Tonight would have marked the 40th year in a row that we had a Large Number 7 Pizza on June 22nd. It was disappointing to find that you were closed for our special date.
I had another amazing meal at this restaurant. I ordered the Spaghetti Caruso and it was delicious. It never disappoints. My partner had the vegetable lasagna and also enjoyed it. We love their Cannelloni and Manicotti as well. I haven't tried their pizza yet, but I plan to someday.
Another amazing meal to celebrate our 50th Anniversary last night with our family and tonight just the two of us. Thanks to Denise for great service and kitchen staff for a wonderful hot meal both nights!! We love it here!!
We had a surprise birthday dinner last night the 10 of us really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent we will be going back again soon .
I have visited this restaurant multiple times and returned last night. The service and food were exceptional, as always. I highly recommend this establishment.
