The food was decent... read more This was our first time visiting the Wrey Arms. The positives include the very friendly lady at the bar who was accommodating and welcoming. The food was decent, although the bread on the fish sandwich was a bit soggy, possibly due to being defrosted. The menu options are fairly basic. On the downside, my glass was dirty and the pub had a lingering smell of old spilled beer, giving it a somewhat dingy atmosphere. The menus could have been presented better, perhaps laminated instead of crumpled print outs. Overall, there are a couple of areas that could use improvement.

The room and bathroom were clean and well-organized, and we were provided with all the amenities we needed such as tea, coffee, milk, shower gel, shampoo, soap, and towels. The bartender was polite and the food was delicious - we enjoyed fish and chips for a great price of £10.45. The live music was also enjoyable. The atmosphere was quiet after 11 pm, allowing us to get a good night's rest. We would highly recommend this restaurant and plan to visit again in the future.
