The dining experience at this restaurant was excellent. We ordered the carvery and the fish and chips, both of which were delicious. The carvery included a generous portion of meat and plenty of vegetables. The apple crumble for dessert was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, we were satisfied and very full after our meal.

Amazing breakfast, since years here. will not go anywhere else!

This is the place to stop not only if you are on your way to holiday but as a local like us. Cannot remember when I have seen such value, the portions are not small. The food is good and wholesome. You give this place five stars for that alone. We have been using this place for a long time, not that regular but we have had breakfasts and dinner all brilliant. We were tourist when we found the place and I think that was some ten years back. In all the time we have used it the team have always been warm, welcoming and helpful. A high standards of customer service with an eye for detail. Thanks

We have dined at the Northgate twice in the last 2 weeks. The meals were excellent on both occasions, served piping hot with generous portions. The staff were friendly and attentive. Covid safety measures were in place, with staff wearing masks or visors and hand sanitizer available at the entrance and in the restrooms. We have already made a reservation for next week.

This used to be a Little Chef back in 2002 when it changed to this independant. It's starting to feel a bit run down now but the food is good and the staff were welcoming and very helpful in accommodating some complex allergies. The menu is extensive, almost too long. But the quality was still there. A great place to stop for food. Marked this down due to looking a bit run down. A bit of gardening outside and some new chairs would fix that.
