What Pepsi Max dislikes about Miss Fea's Bistro:
Everything was almost perfect at this restaurant. It's a lovely place—clean and inviting—with a fantastic breakfast. Unfortunately, the bed in the Rockham room was rather hard and uncomfortable, which was disappointing for us. It’s too bad that parking isn’t available on-site, so we had to use a pay-and-display option. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 2, the service a 5, and the location a 4. One highlight of the ho... The Smugglers Rest is our preferred accommodation choice in North Devon. Its location is convenient for Woolacombe and the surrounding area, with access to village amenities. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated, and they serve an excellent breakfast in the morning. We have stayed here multiple times and plan to do so in the future.

I recently stayed at The Smugglers Rest, a charming B&B with a bistro in a quaint village setting, ideal for discovering the North Devon coastline. The dedication to excellent customer service is evident in every aspect, from the warm welcome to the tasteful decor, the delicious freshly prepared meals, and the accommodating staff. I would definitely return for another visit.

The restaurant offers a delicious seasonal menu with a wide variety of options. We enjoyed the fillet steak, sea bass, and pork belly, all of which were delicious. The children's menu was also good and had a nice variety of fresh, homemade dishes. The desserts were excellent and unique, with the Baileys burnt basque cheesecake standing out as a favorite. The dishes were beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was cozy and charming.

Couldn't recommend a place more highly than this. Noticed a review that suggested the vegan food was good but I was delighted to find dairy free options on the menu. We had the Beetroot 3 ways and Hummus as starters which were delicious (and by the way the presentation of food here definitely classifies as art) but they just hinted at what was to come. I'm assured that the Hake dish was beautiful but the Monkfish coconut curry was off the charts. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection and the balance of flavours was sublime. I seriously considered begging the chef for the recipe! The dessert was gorgeous too. Lovely, friendly and attentive staff and such a pleasant atmosphere. 100% would dine here again. Service: 5

Such a beautiful small restaurant in mortehoe, doesn’t feel full of tourists like most of the restaurants in Woolacombe do! The food quality is exquisite, and although slightly on the pricy side, it is definitely worth it. The restaurant owners are very nice and always make you feel welcome when you return Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
