read moreNestled in the heart of Barnstaple, the Gurkha Restaurant continually impresses diners with its warm atmosphere and exceptional cuisine. Guests rave about the flavorful, well-presented dishes, particularly the camp curry and mushroom rice. The attentive staff provide friendly, accommodating service, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience, whether for a large takeaway or an intimate meal. While some diners have noted inconsistencies—like a disappointing chicken curry—the overall consensus is overwhelmingly positive. With extensive vegetarian options and a reasonable price range, the Gurkha Restaurant stands out as a must-visit for both locals and travelers alike.
