Lovely carvery great value, we arrived without booking and it was extremely busy and it's very popular with locals...the manager very kindly had a table for two... read more Lovely carvery great value, we arrived without booking and it was extremely busy and it's very popular with locals...the manager very kindly had a table for two laid for us. This carvery was terrific value, the Resturant was spotless and service was with a smile...if we're ever in Barnstable on a Sunday we will definitely visit again

First the service this was... read more We stayed at the Barnstable hotel for a three night break. Each day we eat in the Brasseri resturant for breakfast and evening meal. First the service this was first class all weekend and i could not fault anything. Now the food well the choice at breakfast was endless it was fantastic and the food its self was cooked really well and everything was hot ,the evening meal was also fantastic with choices on all courses very good you may think until you come to Sunday evening when it is carvery day and what a meal it was fandabidosey I even had to go for a lay down afterwards they also do the carvery at lunch time and on our weekend they did 350 covers great fiod great team great hotel 10 out of 10
