Facilities are clean, up-to-date and staff is positive and helpful. The hotel is in an ideal location as it's close to the university and down-town-normal. We were somewhat disappointed with the quality of the free breakfast items. But--it is a hot breakfast and had several options. Starbucks is right next door if someone wants a pastry or other coffee options. Coffee Hound is right down the street and has man offeri... View all feedback.

I 'd leave zero stars if I could. We reserved two types of rooms, at least a month in advance, only to be told that the room we reserved had been given away. That it 's a first come, first served type of situation. Why make a reservation, then?I contacted customer service, was told management would be in touch, but wasn 't. We stayed here for 4 days. Attention to detail needs to happen. There have been spots on the lobby floors since the day we arrived. Culligan water bottle in lobby has been empty the whole time. There are A LOT of stains on the carpets. Our room was great. The lobby area needs to be kept up with. This is just a small area in the ohoto I ruin but dirty tile floor throughout the lobby! Oh, and yes, we had to walk past 2 homeless men sleeping inside the doorway to the garage elevators the first night we stayed here. They were on the bottom floor outside the small carpeted area.
Quiet, comfortable rooms. Outstanding breakfast buffet. Accommodating staff who are eager to please. Only downside is if you are just passing through the area, it is a bit of a drive from the Interstate highways. However, if you want to be by the university, it is perfect.

Nice they did it but disgusting that I had to remind them. This is the first and last time I am a Hyatt customer.
We are staying tonight 9/2/23 room 416) the room is good the only thing is the BATHTUB that need to be clean really bad..we were gonna give our daughter a bath right after we checked in and we saw a bunch of Pubic hair in the bathtub.. not just 1 but all over in the bathtub ????not going to lie we are very disappointed..we chose to stay at Hyatt for some reason and I thought I chose the good one and i can trust with the cleanliness and yet we have to experience this : i also did a lot of research before I ended up booking at Hyatt too and now i just feel like I chose the wrong one.i came down and told the front desk he was sorry and will tell the housekeeper but this should not be happened at all with this kind of cost how much we paid to stay here. Please make sure the housekeeper knows please.Thank you
Very comfortable stay! Everything was fresh and clean. Bathroom had a step in shower, which was nice. Parking used by the hotel is directly across the street on Beaufort, in the Bloomington Normal Amtrak Parking Garage. (And not in the OTHER parking structure that is also directly across the street, called the Beaufort Street Parking Deck. I ended up in the wrong one, being unfamiliar with the area, and incorrectly interpreting the check in person 's pointing. Breakfast selections were very good nice wide variety. Did some walking around the area and felt very safe. Nice area called The Circle nearby, with a variety of shops and eateries and public art/murals.
