A really memorable special meal in a unique setting. Service was impeccable precise yet friendly and approachable. Really good to be able to talk to the chef. We had six course tasting menus and we each chose different ones, so we got to sample twelve dishes between us plus the extra amuse bouches and palette cleanser/petit fours. Food was of a good standard some of it exceptional, some good rather than exceptional. This is a Michelin guide restaurant rather than star, and the food is probably not quite there for a star but if it had been it would justifiably been more expensive. So overall, five star, and good value.
This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. We went as a family of 5 and felt so welcome. The chef was brilliant with the children and the food was incredible. The restaurant is small and cute and felt very intimate. It was a wonderful experience for us.
