What Samara Grady doesn't like about Kobo Bakery:
a small bakery next to the stinking bishops and hakiki Turkish ice cream, azuki (formerly known as kobo) is a contemporary Japanese fusion bakery on the enmore road, which offers a lot of baked, bread and cake, I bought a matcha roll cake and chocolatemont blue from the bakery. the small cakes were decent, but both are marginally rough and not soft enough. the Matcha reel also lacks an unmistakable Matcha aroma. thes... Very interesting selection of japanese flavours (yuzu muffin, bacon wasabi roll, various curry buns) as well as some western-style offerings. The pastries I bought were all good, the standout being the mentaiko bread, which was a robust savoury baguette with mentaiko (fish roe) butter.
Overall lovely bakery with some unique offerings, I'll make my way to Enmore again to sample some more. View all feedback.

read moreBake Kobo, a quaint Japanese bakery located in Enmore, may be easy to overlook but is definitely worth seeking out. They offer a variety of cute and unique bread options such as custard bear and turtle cookie bread, which received rave reviews. In addition to traditional bread, their wasabi mayo bacon and beef curry breads provide a refreshing twist. The cream puff hits the right notes of sweetness, while the red bean filled doughnut and green tea tart bring flavors reminiscent of Asia. Customers praised the bakery for its interesting selection of Japanese flavors and Western-style pastries. Standout items included the robust savoury mentaiko bread and the saucy Japanese curry beef bun. Overall, Bake Kobo was described as a lovely bakery with some unique offerings that are definitely worth another visit.
