We love and visit this place often, but only tried to go there and had the worst service! Immigrated and stood while two female employees just stared at us for about ten minutes. They finally decided to move motivated enough and tell us that it would wait a 45 minutes because they no longer have tables. For dessert, I had the bread pudding with cream sauce, which was simply amazing—just perfect. I learned that it was a recipe that's been passed down for 100 years. My friends tried the pork chops, and they were exceptionally seasoned—so tender that you could cut them with a table knife. They also had the peanut butter cake for dessert and claimed it was the best cake they had ever tasted. The restaurant closes for a few months after New Year's, but I can't wait for it to reopen. I will definitely be back!

My mother made an outstanding version, and after she passed away, my father and I embarked on a quest to find the best liver and onions, especially in the western suburbs and beyond. So, you can imagine my delight when I stumbled upon this charming little restaurant in Ohio on a Wednesday and found a liver and onions special. It was the best I've ever had! Be sure to order the two pieces, or you'll regret it later! Plus, the ambiance is lovely.
