Tee Jaye's Country Place - Newark

Ariana was our server and she was prompt and friendly. I ordered the chicken tenders dinner, which arrived quickly and was served hot. It was very delicious! This was my first visit to Tee Jayees, and I had a positive experience overall.

My friend and I dined at this restaurant, but unfortunately, he ended up with food poisoning, and we both became sick afterwards. My friend even vomited blood and had to be taken to the hospital, where they are currently running tests on him. On a positive note, our server was incredibly friendly and did a great job; I really feel for them given the circumstances. However, the cook seemed inattentive, and I received the wrong dish. While the food itself wasn't terrible, it didn’t live up to the reputation of TeeJay’s that I had heard about. This was my first visit, and it will definitely be my last.

Tj's is consistently excellent. The food is delicious, the service is outstanding, and it's always a cozy place to relax.

I could literally eat there everyday. I love Tee Jayes.

Let me start by saying I love a barnyard buster!! This was very disappointing. The biscuits were small, old and hard. And I needed to use a plastic knife to cut through an over easy egg.
