What OpenTable Diner likes about Lavagna:
I've been going to Lavagna since it first opened around 2001. It's been consistently wonderful the food, quality, service and overall experience. Its casual yet intimate atmosphere makes Lavagna the perfect place for entertaining friends, family or dates. Again, the food is amazing. This is my favorite restaurant in the City. Food was very good, but service was lacking. Our waiter definitely rushed us and seemed displeased when we weren’t ready to order the first time he came around. View all feedback.

read moreLavagna restaurant in the East Village offers consistently outstanding food and service in a charming atmosphere, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. While some reviews mention that the portions could be larger for the price and that complementary bread would be a nice touch, the quality of the food always shines through. The professional and attentive staff ensure a top-notch dining experience, with delicious dishes like salmon and flatiron steak receiving high praise. Despite some complaints about rushed service, the overall consensus is that Lavagna is a gem of a restaurant and a must-visit for Italian cuisine lovers in New York City.
