Had heard excellent things from friends but didnât live up to the hype. Well cooked food, but prices seem high for a pretty straightforward menu. The dinner still would have been a good experience given cute ambiance and well executed food, but the service was absolutely horrendous. Our waiter was snobby, rude and absent, and the staff seemed generally untrained and confused.
Birthday dinner. To me this is a very chef-driven place- the food is incredible but there are minor atmosphere issues. My husband and I both said the food punches above its weight compared to the prices and the somewhat casual atmosphere.
Brick chicken is our go-to! Comes with potatoes and broccolini and is brought to you in a deep cast iron dish sizzling amazing. Service is impeccable and on top of that very friendly. Love this place!
Everything about the meal was great until the check came and I noticed that it included a recovery charge. While our server explained payment of the charge is optional when we questioned the charge,,my friend and I who split the check were put off by the stealthy way it was added- neither of us had seen any mention of the fee on the menu or elsewhere in the restaurant. We paid it and did not punish the server but, excellent as the meal was, I doubt Iâll ever go back because of the way the restaurant hid the charge.
