What Sk S likes about El Azteca Y El Guanaco:
The food at this restaurant is fresh and delicious, and the outdoor seating is comfortable. We both ordered fish, and the portions were generous. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 (and I am basing my rating not on high-end restaurants but on similar, more affordable local ones) is because it was a bit challenging to get the waitstaff's attention. The food was not worth it. There was only a small portion of rice and the meat was not very tasty. It did not even resemble traditional carne asada. The only good things about this dish were the chimol and the horchata. View all feedback.

read moreNestled in a bustling location, this restaurant offers a delightful taste of Salvadoran and Nicaraguan cuisine. Diners rave about the incredible pupusas, heralded as some of the best around, with the horchata receiving special praise. While generous portions of freshly prepared fish and hearty soups satisfy patrons, the service can lag at times. Although certain dishes may disappoint, the warm, no-frills atmosphere and authentic flavors resonate with those craving a true taste of Central America. Although cash-only payments may pose a challenge, the experience is well worth the visit for those seeking comforting home-style cuisine.
