What David S likes about Brooklyn Diner:
See Ali... that's right Mohammad Ali, not the boxer but our server named after ther great boxer! He was a champ, he was pleasant, attentive, and quick with our order... you must ask for him. The burgers are nicely made with crispy shoestring fries, can't go wrong. The waffle melt is awesome added a egg and made it a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich which I highly recommend. Don't know where else you can get this? Oh on... View all feedback. What Jake Grant, Jr doesn't like about Brooklyn Diner:
The maitre d was nice very friendly our waiter was a little lacking in his service. The pastrami was a little too fatty for $20 should have been a better cut of meat. I have not been in at least 3 years so I was looking forward to a delicious hot pastrami sandwich and coleslaw unfortunately It was just ok. View all feedback.

read moreBrooklyn Diner offers a mix of hit-and-miss dishes, with highlights including the Cheeseburger and Avocado Toast. Although service quality varied, with some reviews noting slow wait times and abrupt plate clearing, the standout staff member named Ali impressed diners. The cozy diner ambiance was a plus, with much-loved items like the pastrami Reuben and waffle melt creating lasting memories. While some minor disappointments were noted, like the overly fatty pastrami and strict COVID measures, most diners found the food quality and service to be worth a return visit. Overall, Brooklyn Diner is a solid choice for those seeking decent food at good prices in the neighborhood.
