Small bar and grill in New Rochelle. Drinks are very good but the service was very slow. Food, when it finally arrived was good. Fortunately, the manager explained that he was short a cook so we waited and everything was okay.
Made a reservation and when we arrived, the place was completely closed and all the numbers were not working.
Never a problem getting a table, went on a Friday night and the place was pretty quiet. Meals take a bit of time to get to the table, hate to see how long the wait would be if the place was jammed!
This was our second visit to Rooster. Someone in the kitchen really knows what they are doing! The food was very good this time just like the last time. We both ordered the roasted salmon with honey mustard sauce and it came on a sizzling platter with some lovely veggies very, very good. It's a very cute place, too!
