The host informed me that they do not take reservations, despite my booking a table for 14 people a month in advance. However, it was not a problem as we were still able to be seated and order our meals without any issues. It was a bachelor party, and we were quite boisterous, which seemed to bother the three older women sitting next to us, who made some comments under their breath as we left. I chose not to react, as I couldn't help but think, "You do realize you're on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, right? It's not exactly a quiet dining spot." Nonetheless, the food was delicious, and the service was satisfactory. Everyone in our group enjoyed the meal.
While attending Jazzfest in town, our group of 6 had a delightful dinner at Cornet before heading to see the Preservation Hall Jazz Band across the street. Our server was patient and efficient, answering all of our questions about the regional menu selections and delivering our meals promptly. We all agreed that the dinner was a standout experience during our culinary adventure in New Orleans, and we would definitely recommend Cornet to others. We hope to visit again in the future.
Host told me they didn't do reservations even though I had reserved a table for people a month in advance. Doesn't matter though because we were able to sit down and order our food without any issues. It was a bachelor party and we were pretty loud so the older women next to us made some comments under their breath as we were leaving. I didn't respond but all I could think of was, You know you're on Bourbon Street in New Orleans right? Not exactly a place to eat dinner if you're looking for somewhere quiet Anyways the food was great and the service was good. Everyone liked it.
The staff was friendly and attentive. I grabbed a burger and she grabbed some pasta. Great corner spot on bourbon street. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Loved it! Sat on upper balcony with nice view of Bourbon Steet antics. Waitress was super friendly. Just had appetizers on way to a tour alligator bites were great and sampler plate with jumbalaya, gumbo and red beans/rice was fantastic too! Perfect tasting of New Orleans favorites. Would recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
