Chances R - Nepean

This restaurant has been around for ages, and although we’ve dined here a few times in the past, it’s been a while since our last visit. The place was bustling on a Wednesday night at 5:30 PM, mainly filled with seniors. Our server, Samantha, provided prompt and friendly service. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a steak sandwich with a salad, both of which were quite tasty. Our food arrived very quickly. The total bill came to $60, which included two soft drinks, tax, and excluding the tip.

Our second visit was for dinner on a Saturday night when the place was bustling. We were pleased to have the same waiter, who demonstrated great attention to detail, clearly showcasing his experience in the hospitality industry. Once again, the service was excellent and the food was abundant. The white wine was nicely chilled, but similar to many other Canadian establishments, the draft lager/beer didn’t have the same head as in Europe, making it appear somewhat flat. Nonetheless, the beer at Chances R still tasted great.

We visited this restaurant for breakfast after quite some time, having been in Alberta. We were pleasantly surprised - the breakfast was fantastic and delicious, the home fries were exceptional, and the coffee kept flowing. Our experience was wonderful, and we definitely plan to return. It's amazing how much you appreciate a place once you're back. This is a great restaurant!
