Great breakfast vegan skillet option. Looks like there's a vegan option on most menus and they say on their Facebook page that they can always accommodate veganism if asked. Food, service and atmosphere were great. View all feedback.
What LynnRST doesn't like about Rel-Ish Bistro:
I didn’t go here (there is a reason for that). Looking at the menu online, it appears that they read don’t have ANYTHING vegan on the menu (without significant modifications). If the online menu as of Feb 2023 reflects the actual offerings, this place should not be listed on HappyCow. Pretty unfortunate. View all feedback.
When I read a previous review, I came to the breakfast cloth. Unfortunately the menu had changed and so I went for the burger (although the tofu bowl was tempting the burger made for the initial disappointment, as it was nice thick juicy burger with a lot (pickled) taste. I can't stand my mind if the glass-ketchup bottle was a profi or a con, as it was violently shaking to some ketchup from it gave me some positive kindness flashbacks. updated by previous review on 2020-08-18
Large breakfast vegan skill option. looks as if there is a vegan option on most menus and they say on their Facebook page that they can always absorb veganism when asked.
Update: went back a second time when visiting nelson, and it was just as good. this time we sat inside, and the restaurant interieur was really nice and not too busy for lunch on a Friday night. I had the breakfast pita that had local silverking tofu, sweet and a big tahini sauce. Rel-ish is on my list in nelson. original review: my partner and I went to lunch and managed to get a place on their terrace next to where we could keep our dog. they do not accept reservations for the terrace, so we had to wait a bit, but the hostess/waitress was glad to give me a call when a place was available. eating was really good! the crispy tofu dish was really delicious. they have their choice to get it on rice, brown rice, quinoa or noodles. I chose brown rice I thought went really well with all the textures and aromas. her menu is very well marked, and the service was friendly. updated from previous review on 2018-08-15
We had to leave without eating no vegan options at all. Sad because last summer we were there and the vegan dishes were outstanding!!
