The aubergine bowl and rice at this restaurant are absolutely delicious! My love for aubergine has been reignited, and it pairs perfectly with a hint of smokiness. The food at this place is top-notch and there are plenty of great options to choose from. Plus, there is a food store located above the street that is worth checking out as well. What User doesn't like about Kootenay Tamil Kitchen:
Charging $21 for a serving of biryani and $12 for a serving of samosas, plus a $7 delivery fee for a location just 2 minutes away, is completely unreasonable. I have tried almost every item on the menu multiple times and found that 86% of it is not even worth eating. We ate here for the first time and we found the food delicious. We had the Eggplant, butter chicken, lamb kozhi kulambu served with rice and we ordered the parotta bread which was flaky and hot. It was all very good. The staff were good but it took the food awhile to get to us but I think it cause everyone came in about the same time. We were seated right away. Prices were reasonable for a dinner menu. Street parking available. Free after 5 pm.
We had an amazing dinner with wonderful food and great service. Everything tasted wonderful, can’t wait to eat here again.
