Contribute FeedbackBusaba has garnered a reputation for its vibrant flavors and accommodating menu, particularly for vegan diners. Highlighted dishes include the excellent green curry, praised for its richness and depth, while the pad thai has drawn mixed reviews regarding its seasoning. The staff's attentiveness to dietary needs is commendable, promptly offering insights into vegan options available or easily adaptable. Though starters lack vegan choices, various main dishes such as stir fries and curries can be enjoyed. With a commitment to local ingredients and customer satisfaction, Busaba remains a delightful choice for those seeking authentic Thai cuisine.
The green curry was incredibly flavorful and delicious, while the pad thai was good but lacked a bit of flavor. I will definitely be returning to try more of their curry dishes!
We were turned away from Busaba on April 3rd due to the current virus situation and not being able to dine in. However, we have had many meals here before and have never been disappointed. I had inquired about vegan options before ordering, as it was not clearly marked on the menu (I have been vegan since December 2019). I received a prompt response with a list of vegan options and modifications that could be made. Unfortunately, there are no vegan starters, but there are 2 vegetarian options. The pad thai, tom kha soup, stir fries, khao soi, and curries can all be made vegan. We chose the pad thai and the Bangkok Penang curry, both made with local silver tofu. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about vegan options.
I really enjoyed the green curry with eggplant and tofu at this restaurant. They offer a variety of vegan dishes that are clearly labeled or can be made vegan upon request (just make sure to specify that you want it without the fish sauce).
I ordered the green curry, which was incredibly tasty and delicious, and the pad Thai which was okay but lacked flavor. I will definitely return to sample more curry dishes!
On April 3rd, we decided to get takeaway from Busaba restaurant due to the current virus situation preventing us from dining in. Despite this, we have dined at Busaba many times before and have always had a positive experience. I reached out prior to ordering as the menu did not clearly indicate which dishes were vegan-friendly (I have recently transitioned to a vegan diet since December 2019). I received a prompt response detailing the vegan options available and which dishes could be made vegan. Unfortunately, none of the starters were vegan, but there were two vegetarian options. The Pad Thai, Tom Kha Soup, stir fries, khao soi, and curries were either vegan or could be made vegan. We ordered the Pad Thai and the Bangkok Penang curry, both with locally sourced silverking tofu, and they were both delicious. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about vegan options.
