What Stephon Hamill doesn't like about Baker Street Grill:
Visited for a working lunch & the service was great, very accommodating for special dietary requests. While my colleagues burger looked pretty good my salmon salad didn't quite measure up. The mixed green salad was fresh but the wild BC salmon was small, dry & lacked flavour. For that, it was overpriced. We overnighted at the Best Western, and wanted to have dinner close by, can't get any closer! Also it was recommended to us by a local. Dinner was delicious & the service provided was excellent, very funny & friendly while professional. I enjoyed the noodle stir fry with prawns while my husband had the rib & chicken sampler. read moreDining experiences at this restaurant were mixed. Nachos were tasty but main dishes arrived too quickly, resulting in a rushed atmosphere. Quality of the rib & chicken combo was lacking, with dry meat and overpowering marinade. Sunday buffet food was disappointing, lacking flavor and variety. Breakfast options were limited and service was subpar. However, portions were generous and pasta was exceptional. For dinner, noodle stir fry and rib & chicken sampler were delicious, with excellent service. Overall, the restaurant was convenient for hotel guests but may not be the best dining option in Nelson.
