The cake quality is decent but not exceptional. It's no longer a top choice for purchasing cakes, as there are better options available at other average cake shops. Unfortunately, there seems to be a trend of selling old cakes with new expiration dates.
This restaurant provides a serene atmosphere to take a break. It is the perfect place for enjoying a cup of coffee. Come relax with friends and family while being served by the friendly staff.
The prices are a bit high, but the food is of excellent quality. I highly recommend it for those looking for the best, regardless of the cost.
The Snack is a small restaurant in the center of Negombo that caught our attention because it was filled with locals, amidst the tourist consumerism paradise that is Negombo. We ate there a couple of times, and the prices are almost half of the neighboring restaurants for the same dish, but without the western decoration. The chef cooks outside and you can watch the preparation of hoppers, a favorite dish of the country, which are like bowl-shaped crepes with an egg at the bottom. They accompany the main dishes or can simply serve as a appetizer to curb your hunger. They have cold drinks but do not serve beer. You can also order to-go and eat on the nearby beach, or eat at the outdoor tables they have, as there is no indoor seating. A dinner costs less than 2 euros per person, and the food is good!
