Description

At this busy café-style chain, kiosk and app ordering plus delivery are convenient, and the dining room is notably clean. Recent visits report declining food quality, bland flatbreads and smaller-than-expected soups, inconsistent portions and menu omissions, and higher prices. Service is hurried and sometimes inattentive, with communication issues and occasional order mishandling; pickup waits can be long. The Thai chicken soup is a bright spot for flavor. Consider trying another nearby location if you value clear communication and consistent food.

I usually order through the kiosk and simply pick up my food when my name is called, so I don’t interact much with the staff. Unfortunately, the food quality has gone downhill. My favorite sandwich is no longer available, and the flatbreads lack any real flavor. Last time I ordered, I had to ask for salt and pepper just to make it edible, and it took forever for them to bring it. The photo I’m sharing shows a margherita flatbread I ordered (after seasoning it myself), which looks nothing like the picture displayed at the kiosk—it looks more like a plain tomato pizza than a true margherita. On top of that, the prices are ridiculous now. I paid $18.70 for a tomato flatbread and a salad as part of their "pick two" deal. I probably should have just stayed home and ordered a large pizza from somewhere else.

The staff at Panera Bread show little respect for both customers and DoorDash drivers. It’s frustrating to have to wait at least 30 minutes for your order to be ready for pickup.

The app is hard to use. Additionally, the Thai soup bowl I ordered was only about half full and contained very few ingredients—just two small chicken pieces, a slice of tomato, and a few tiny carrot shreds; the rest was mostly broth. While it had good flavor, it wasn’t worth the $8.39 price. It didn’t provide enough sustenance to get me through the rest of my workday, which was disappointing. I was really thankful for the bread.

The staff has limited English proficiency and often rushes away without confirming that you've understood them. To make matters worse, they misplaced our order even while we were standing right in front of the kitchen staff. This location is quite disappointing; it's advisable to drive to the next one if you're looking for good food and clear communication from the employees.

The customer service was disappointing. My coffee was lukewarm, and the toasted bagel seemed like it had never even seen a toaster. On the positive side, I’ve now identified a spot to avoid for breakfast.
