I've never been able to afford to eat here, but I've cooked int he kitchen of the Pearl. I can assure you that the food is made with integrity, passion, and at the hands of competent professionals. The flavors are balanced and the ingredients fresh even seasonal! If you've got 3 dollar signs on Google kind of money, than give it a try. View all feedback.
What Brendan Monot doesn't like about The Pearl:
The renovation is spectacular, and the Pearl is definitely worth stopping by to see that alone. The 60 second steak eggs is probably one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. But the food otherwise leaves much to be desired. Additionally, the price point is outrageous, even for Nantucket. $150 for apps and drinks is unsustainable View all feedback.
The bar is so beautiful, so is the restaurant itself. The food was very good and the presentation was on point! We started with ceviche and beef tartare, finished with potatoes and steak which was absolutely amazing!! Thank you Svetlana and Kevin for great service and fun time!
This was our last and worst dinner for the week on Nantucket. It is our second time coming here (first back in 2020) and it’s nothing like it was. The service was so painfully slow that we asked for the check as soon as the food came, put it in boxes, and left. We voiced our dissatisfaction and never even received an “I’m sorry.” Do not waste your money or your time.
Fantastic food in a beautiful garden. Decedent Allen Brothers steak in incredible Umami au poivre. Delightful infused branzino. Crispy rice in the salad. Loved.
This place used to be amazing top notch… I’m not sure if it’s under new ownership or what, but the drinks are watered down and still the most expensive ones in town. I had to beg for a glass of water, and then they gave me like 3 ounces in a small glass. Really disappointed. The Pearl used to be my favorite place on the island, but the vibe is different now, and I’m not interested anymore, sadly.
The Pearl used to be one of the best restaurants in the world! Then the Pearl’s owner and chef sold the restaurant to some corporation. Since then everything has gone down hill. The prices have shot up, the service has gotten worse, and the food has gotten worse. Now I would never go to the Pearl. Really is a shame it used to be my favorite restaurant.
