Contribute FeedbackQueequeg’s restaurant received a mix of reviews from customers. Some were disappointed by the poor quality of food and service, with complaints about dry dishes and inattentive staff. However, others had a fantastic experience, praising the attentive service and delicious food. The ambiance and patio were highlighted as beautiful, although some felt that the menu lacked seasonal dishes. Overall, Queequeg’s seems to have its strengths and weaknesses, with a diverse range of opinions from customers.
We had dinner here a few weeks ago and the food and service were excellent! They had a light technical sip this evening, but Brad immediately informed us that we immediately had water and drinks and were worried about us. Everything was delicious and cooked for perfection. The food was excellent and the service top-notch!
A wonderful experience from beginning to end! Came early and had a relaxing time at the outdoor bar, including a great wine and cocktail list, and some very interesting and delicious appetizers. Then moved to a table for our dinner reservation, and at any time the staff was friendly, welcoming, and went out their way to take care of our preferences (selection, heating, etc.). We were impressed by the menu options, and even more by the tasteful and artistically prepared dishes. I had the Scottish salmon (hand raised from a special farm and so fresh, and so beautifully cooked, moist on the inside, and fabulous scratchy skin) and my wife had the amazing Bolognese (wonderfully warm and tasteful). The staff was busy but had good control and was very attentive and accessible. We were extra to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere on the terrace, and we look forward to the return! Luckily Queequeqs will remain open except for a month or so at the beginning of the year.
Cosy little place with delicious dishes. The portions were large and beautifully presented
We came to dinner a few nights ago and had to start the dynamite shrimp and the halibut and ramen as our main thing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The dynamite shrimps are cooked in a very light dough (almost like beerbatter or what you could get with an upper animal sweet and sour chicken/pork), accompanied by a delicious spicy/tangie sauce. Very recommend this plate. Only complaints to be shrimps are a little small. The Halibut was slightly overcooked and dry, but the risotto at which it was served was delicious, and the sauce (a kind of Bernaise) was also great. I thought the rungs were a little tasteless compared to what I had eaten in places specializing in ramen (I probably ordered something else). All in all, we had a good experience and would come back.
The service and dinner were excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and not too crowded. Be sure to arrive early to secure a table or a seat at the bar.
